Moral Imbecility and the Vatican
 
There is a simple explanation as to why it took the popes in Rome two hundred years to admit that Galileo was right and indeed it is the earth that goes around the sun.                  
 
Ignorance and cowardice.
 
Ignorance and cowardice also explains why the know-it-all original bigots and the inventors of antisemitism needed over a century to concede that Darwin was also right and evolution is indeed a fact. 
 
It may not be immediately obvious but ignorance and cowardice also keep the arrogant and childishly delusional Roman Catholic Church from discarding the strange medieval folly of the bizarre notion of priestly "celibacy".
 
Mother Nature is not insulted with impunity. Trapped by delusion or cowardice in a system that abhors independent thinking and rewards servility, the Catholic priestood's unfortunate reality is moral eunuchood, the price to be paid for accepting a culture of hypocrisy and shame.
 
Healthy individuals with integrity cannot stomach the stench of hypocrisy and leave the priesthood.
 
In a culture of shame a robust moral eunuchood is the ticket for a career in the Catholic hierarchy.
 
Easy proof and evidence: in 2002 then cardinal Ratzinger, in one elaborate and authoritative sounding whopper, a criminally ignorant or criminally mendacious statement, one brazen big lie that would have made Joseph Goebbels proud, claimed that less than one percent of Catholic priests sexually molest children!
 
Whoever cares enough to investigate can easily find out the tragic truth. Despite the secrecy, the stonewalling and the nature of the crime that prevents the great majority of the victims from coming forward and telling, the figure of eleven percent is closer to the number of priests who were caught. That is ONLY THE PRIESTS WHO WERE EXPOSED!
 
Prior to 2002 the Vatican was actually complaining that prison was too harsh a penalty for pedophiles!
 
To pacify public opinion, the Catholic Church in 2002 finally conceded that abusing children sexually is a crime but it is very evident that the Vatican hierarchy, in its stunted and ignorant inner core, trapped by moral imbecility in moral darkness, still does not grasp the essence of the problem.
 
While making excuses and a big show of addressing the scandal, even defrocking sick individuals, not only are the protectors, the enablers, the criminal drivers of get-away cars rewarded and promoted but the victims are re-victimized and insulted.
 
                 My personal experience does not reflect well on the Catholic Church.
 
Common sense suggests that the Vatican's waging a cowardly, shameful, vile beyond any standard of human decency, now ten years long campaign, PURE EVIL, against a lone, crippled, innocent victim crying for justice, could not just be the madness of some obscure, pathological country priest hiding in some Italian village.
 
It may be prudent for Pope Benedict XVI to do the right thing and retire the responsible sanctimonious degenerate, this COWARD and sadist, with the abhorrent morals of a Dr Joseph Mengele, before the psychopath provokes a scandal.
 
WHO could be the creep? Indeed the identity of this MORAL MONSTER, disgusting human being and ranking sociopath may forever remain a mystery safely hidden in the secret Vatican archives, but most of his accomplices can be easily recognized.
 
These ten years are evidence of the moral malignancy of cowardly hypocrites, stunted provincial minds trapped in a parasitic institution where a Dark Ages lunacy, the half-baked scheme of clerical celibacy, is called a "GIFT" and the Church's "brilliant jewel"!

Still I was surprised when, on the 26th of February, 2007 I heard from the very mouth of the "Holy See"'s top diplomat in the U.S., a Most Reverend Catholic Archbishop, the Pope's ambassador to the Bush administration, strolling past me, the word "SCEMO".
  
I do speak Italian but I am not a linguist or a psychologist and I am not sure if "scemo" can be translated as "Idiot" or "Imbecile". It is play-ground language, an infantile and immature insult.
  
Thank You, Your Excellency, for Your CRASS performance, a truly informative one indeed: it crowns the indefensible idiocy of the four arguments conveyed nine years ago by one of the Vatican's brightest Reverend  Monsignors: in these nine years the Catholic Church has learned absolutely nothing!
  
With 69 million "faithfuls" (who re-elected George Bush, didn't they?) and a majority of the members of the U.S. Supreme Court, (DUPES or ACCOMPLICES??) practicing Catholics apparently oblivious to the fact that their dysfunctional "Church" is run with the secrecy and morality of a criminal enterprise, the current morally challenged pope must believe that he can safely insult the crippled victims of the gross medieval ignorance of his parasitic "church" Business.
  
The arrogance! The stupidity! The Vatican's parasites need a lesson. One they will never forget. Humanity owes it to them.

The key word is DISCRETION. 
 
Documentary evidence proves again and again and again that, as long there is no scandal, the racket's institutional hypocrisy tolerates and ignores the most degenerate outrages.

As things stand today, it meets only one criterion for membership: political recognition by some governments.

"I am personally convinced that the constant presence in the press of the sins of Catholic priests, especially in the United States, is a planned campaign, as the percentage of these offences among priests is not higher than in other categories, and perhaps it is even lower."

"In the United States, there is constant news on this topic, but less than 1% of priests are guilty of acts of this type," he said. "The constant presence of these news items does not correspond to the objectivity of the information nor to the statistical objectivity of the facts.

"Therefore, one comes to the conclusion that it is intentional, manipulated, that there is a desire to discredit the Church. It is a logical and well-founded conclusion."


            The leader of the “Holy” Catholic Church apparently doesn’t understand the essential truth of the molestation scandal: it was the Church’s systematic cover-up over many decades that so horrified both followers and outsiders alike. His “Holiness” also makes obvious how the Catholic hierarchy takes full advantage of the credulity and gullibility of the “faithful believers”.


            Recent statistics for the Diocese of Covington, Ky. reveal that 9.6% of Catholic clergy have molested children. Data for Albany, N.Y. shows 8.2%, Jackson, Miss., 7.8%, Manchester, N.H., 7.7%, Belleville, IL., 7.1%, Boston, MA., 7%, Evansville, Ind. 6.8% and Syracuse, N.Y. 6.7%.


 


            As shocking as these numbers are, they possibly are only the tip of the proverbial iceberg and may only give a hint about the epidemic dimension of this horrid plague infecting Catholic clergy worldwide.


 


            Indeed the hidden tragedy of this sordid crime is that shame and fear of ridicule will keep the great majority of the victims silent and leave too many “Holy men” out of jail. The true percentage of molesting priests is likely 20-40% if not more. Not less than 1% as the Pope would have the gullible and naive “faithful” believe.


 


            It is understandable that the “Holy” Catholic Church would try to hide or minimize the breathtaking enormity of the problem only mentioning the “sins” of a “few” and ignoring the massive criminal institutional cover-up of an all-pervasive cancer.


 


            It is important to remember that the victims of Catholic clergy sexual abuse are victims of the Catholic Church institutional ignorance, hypocrisy and of the Catholic Church moral imbecility exactly as the victims of the Catholic Inquisition were victims of the Catholic Church institutional ignorance.


 


            Stalin himself would’ve been impressed by the callousness and the fury with which this supposedly moral institution, indeed humanity’s self-appointed sole connection to God and self-proclaimed universal beacon of morality is ready to intentionally inflict emotional distress and vindictive actions against a crippled victim, an “old man” who has no legal recourse: vile insults, crude schemes, death threats and even had a fake CNN news T.V. crew in front of my house.


 


            Somebody should tell the Pope that to insult a victim is not only repulsive and morally indefensible but it may be also self-defeating. Ultimately it can only expose the Catholic hierarchy creeps, for what they are: frauds, true parasites, moral imbeciles, vultures who foster and prey on human insecurity.


 


Dear Pope, about your “well-founded” suspicions about a conspiracy and plans to “discredit the Church”: it definitely appears to be an inside job and the priests’ obscene gestures, the menacing thugs and my pain of the last eight years tend to suggest, indeed make a compelling case for, that the Vatican is run by moral imbeciles.
